i'm slightly confused on how to actually use electricblue, i have my dongle etc, and i believe i have all the files for it but when i run it, i get the - failed to load main class manifest attribute. does this mean i need to drag files into it or something for it to work? couldnt find any documentation on the web and im confused as hell on how to actually use it!

How are you running the application? You are not supposed to run the ElectricBlue.jar directly. It is the JSR 82 API implementation, that needs to be in your class path. You will have to write your own JSR 82 application.
