Hello, everyone. I'm a beginner on bluetooth development. I'm preparing to develop an application on J2ME on cellphone. However, there are two technique problems. I'm hoping someone can help me. Thanks!
1. Can applications of J2ME on cellphone discover the bluetooth-enable devices within the range of its radio via bluetooth?
2. Can bluetooth-enable devices exchange information via bluetooth on J2ME without the  intervention of user(for example, input the same code to accept the connection, i.e., the devices exchange information automatically when the users do not know.).
I'm looking for the answers, thanks.

Hello kevin_ca,

Of course you can discover Bluetooth-enabled devices in J2ME. and This article will help you >> http://www.jsr82.com/forum/index.php/topic,128.0.html .. It contains the complete code for device discovery, service discovery and a lot of codes that will help you..

And about the second question I think that there must be intervention of user.. Such as (Do you accept connection from... and Enter the Pass Code, etc..)..

Hope that I helped you Smiley
